Hotel Tannenhof is a seven-suite retreat above St Anton am Arlberg, rebuilt in the spirit of the 1920s landmark that once occupied the site. Carved timber, stone and tailored fabrics give the interiors a distinctly Tyrolean character, sharpened by contemporary bathrooms and large mountain-facing windows. The indoor pool, outdoor sauna and treatment spaces provide a quiet counterpoint to skiing and summer walking. Meals are highly considered and draw on Alpine produce, accompanied by a substantial wine cellar. Private balconies look across the village towards the surrounding peaks, while the lifts and centre remain close below.
