High on the caldera in Imerovigli, Kivotos Santorini rejects the island’s familiar whitewashed palette in favour of dark volcanic tones and sculptural, cave-like forms. Its ten suites and villas are individually arranged with custom furniture, sea-facing windows and private terraces; most add a pool or heated plunge pool. Mavro restaurant occupies an upper terrace for contemporary Greek cooking against the sunset, while wellness treatments are arranged within the intimate property. Black stone, curved walls and reflective water terraces frame uninterrupted views across the caldera towards Thirasia and the volcanic islands.
