Milwaukee’s 1893 Romanesque landmark, The Pfister Hotel combines a soaring historic lobby with a modern tower above the city centre. Victorian paintings from the hotel’s extensive collection line the marble halls and grand staircase, while rooms divide between traditionally detailed accommodation in the original building and more contemporary tower interiors. Blu occupies the twenty-third floor with cocktails, live music and panoramic views, joined by Mason Street Grill, an indoor rooftop pool and WELL Spa. The barrel-vaulted lobby, painted ceiling and gilded details preserve the building’s ceremonial character at street level.
