Half an hour east of Windhoek, Zannier Omaanda sits within a 22,000-acre private wildlife conservancy of acacia-dotted savannah and distant Khomas Hochland hills. Fifteen thatched huts reinterpret traditional Owambo architecture, pairing rounded clay-toned walls with fireplaces, generous terraces and broad views across the reserve. Guided drives focus on rhino, elephant and big-cat conservation in partnership with the N/a’an ku sê Foundation. The lodge also has an infinity pool, a spa in a traditional hut, Ambo Delights restaurant and a fireside boma for evening drinks. Conical roofs and timber decks follow the contours of the surrounding bushveld.
