On a private island among the Isletas de Granada in Lake Nicaragua, Jicaro Island Lodge is reached by boat from Granada and surrounded by water, forest and views towards Mombacho Volcano. Nine two-storey casitas use reclaimed timber and screened openings, with bedrooms above, living areas below and private decks set close to the shoreline. The lodge includes a swimming pool, swim-up bar, lakeside restaurant, wellness centre and yoga deck, while kayaks and paddleboards provide direct access to the lake. Timber walkways run beneath the trees between casitas and shared spaces, with the water appearing through the vegetation on every side.
