Pug Seal Anatole France occupies a 1940s mansion in Polanco, with 26 rooms arranged around a garden and interiors conceived as a loose journey through generations of European influence in Mexico. Individual rooms use bold colour, patterned walls and an eclectic mix of period references rather than a single standard design language. The communal areas include a lounge, dining room, meeting space and rooftop terrace with bar, while the garden softens the transition between rooms and shared spaces. Layered furniture, colour and domestic circulation make the mansion feel deliberately collected rather than conventionally designed.
