Contemporary art begins in the circulation spaces at 21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati, housed in a historic Walnut Street building beside the Contemporary Arts Center. The 156 rooms use clean modern design while retaining the character of the restored structure, and rotating gallery installations extend throughout the public areas. Metropole provides the main restaurant, joined seasonally by a rooftop cocktail terrace. A spa, steam facilities and fitness centre offer quieter spaces away from the cultural programme. The galleries remain open around the clock, placing artworks along the same routes guests use between the lobby, lifts and guestrooms.
