Along pedestrianised Adrianou Street in Plaka, A77 Suites occupies a restored 19th-century building beneath the Acropolis. Its compact collection of suites takes a restrained Greek approach, combining pale stone, oak, linen and clean-lined furniture with original architectural details. Several rooms open to balconies or terraces, while the upper suites place outdoor whirlpools against views of the Parthenon and the tiled roofs of the old quarter. Breakfast is served privately in the suites, leaving the surrounding lanes, neoclassical houses and small neighbourhood restaurants to provide the hotel’s wider sense of place.
