Ace Hotel Kyoto occupies a building shaped by an East-meets-West design approach, developed in dialogue with the city's historic craft traditions and its contemporary design scene. The hotel holds three restaurants, each led by a different American chef, alongside Japan's first Stumptown Coffee Roasters outpost and a courtyard garden set at the centre of the property. Interiors carry Kyoto references through timber, textiles and locally made fittings rather than conventional hotel decoration. The three restaurants and the courtyard remain the property's main social spaces, set apart from the surrounding streets of the historic city.
