On a forested hillside above the Lombok Strait, Amankila descends through stone pathways and thatched pavilions towards East Bali’s coast. Freestanding suites borrow their gateways and rooflines from local architecture, with shaded terraces looking across the sea or gardens; pool suites add private water and greater seclusion. The resort’s three-tiered infinity pool is its architectural centrepiece, linked visually to the horizon below. Farther down the slope, a private beach club has another pool, a restaurant and access to the black-sand shoreline, while dining terraces and spa treatments remain woven into the hillside.
