Amanpuri occupies a wooded headland above Phuket’s Pansea Beach, where steeply pitched Thai pavilions are arranged around a black-tiled swimming pool and stone stairways descend to the sand. Guest pavilions use dark timber, sliding screens and broad terraces, while multi-bedroom villas add private pools and dedicated living spaces among the palms. The beach club, watersports centre and ocean platform bring much of the day to the shoreline. Higher on the headland, the spa is spread through its own pavilions, with restaurants and sunset terraces facing the Andaman Sea.
