Amanwana is the only resort on forested Moyo Island, where a narrow beach meets coral-rich water in a protected marine landscape east of Bali. Canvas-roofed tents stand beneath tamarind trees or closer to the Flores Sea, with hardwood floors, generous beds and picture windows that keep the island present indoors. Meals are served beneath a vast tree beside the shore, and the jetty leads directly to snorkelling, diving and boat expeditions. Inland trails reach waterfalls and wildlife habitat, while the camp’s quiet beachfront and small spa preserve the character of an expedition base rather than a conventional resort.
