On Crete’s northern coast, Amirandes is conceived as a contemporary Minoan water palace, with colonnades, courtyards and a broad lagoon leading towards the sea. Rooms, suites and villas combine pale stone, dark timber and restrained Mediterranean colour, while selected villas add private pools and direct beach access. Nine restaurants and bars range from Cretan cooking to Italian and Asian menus, supported by the Elixir Alchemy Spa, an Olympic-sized pool and landscaped beachfront. The main axis remains architectural and ceremonial, drawing the eye through reflective water towards the horizon.
