On the Lule River in Swedish Lapland, Arctic Bath is built around a circular floating spa structure that freezes into the ice in winter and floats during the warmer months. Cabins and suites use timber, clean Scandinavian lines and large windows towards forest, river or sky. The experience centres on cold bathing, saunas, treatments, northern-light viewing and seasonal wilderness activities. Weathered wood, radial architecture and the shifting surface of the river give the property a striking relationship with its remote northern landscape.
