Set among 55 acres of vines in Agrelo, at the foot of the Andes, Awasi Mendoza is arranged as a collection of 17 private villas rather than a conventional wine-country hotel. Bedrooms pair canopy beds, timber floors and stonework with terraces opening to vineyards and mountain light. The restaurant draws on the estate’s vegetable garden and wines for seasonal, farm-led menus, while the spa includes two couples’ treatment rooms, a wine-bath area, jacuzzi and sauna. Arched dining rooms, planted courtyards and broad villa terraces keep the architecture closely tied to the surrounding rows of Malbec.
