A hidden bay on Pulau Tiga, off Sabah’s west coast, holds Borneo Eagle Resort, a thirteen-villa retreat between rainforest, white sand and the South China Sea. Timber-framed villas are spaced through gardens or along the shore, with broad decks, separate living areas and, in selected categories, private pools or in-villa spa facilities. The Eagle’s Nest restaurant, Sand Bar and curving infinity pool form the principal shared spaces, while kayaking, snorkelling and guided walks lead into the island’s reef and volcanic-mud-pool landscape. Dark wood roofs, bright yellow pool furniture and dense tropical planting give the resort its unmistakable visual identity.
