A few minutes from Plaza de Armas, CIRQA is built into part of a former monastic complex in Arequipa’s historic centre, where pale sillar stone, vaulted ceilings and enclosed courtyards define the eleven-room property. Bedrooms are individually arranged within the old structure, pairing original masonry with restrained contemporary furnishings; larger categories retain dramatic barrel vaults and generous proportions. The central patio contains a heated stone plunge pool, while rooftop spaces look across the White City towards the surrounding peaks. The restaurant draws on Arequipa’s picantería traditions. Arches, textured stone and shaded terraces keep the building’s monastic origins visible throughout the hotel.
