A 1919 Spanish Revival landmark designed by Warren & Wetmore gives Condado Vanderbilt Hotel its commanding Atlantic frontage in San Juan. Arched windows, tiled roofs and formal terraces frame rooms and suites that combine polished traditional detailing with ocean-facing balconies and, in selected categories, butler service. Pools step towards the sea, including an adults-only terrace, while the spa incorporates hammam-inspired facilities and treatment rooms. Dinner at 1919 and cocktails in the VC Lounge take place within the historic main building, where colonnades and courtyards preserve the property’s early twentieth-century character.
