On Rue Royale, Corinthia Brussels revives the Grand Hotel Astoria, Henri van Dievoet’s 1909 Belle Époque landmark in the Notre Dame aux Neiges quarter. Its 126 rooms, suites and penthouses bring contemporary Belgian design into a richly restored envelope of marble, moulded plaster and gilded detailing. The soaring Palm Court, crowned by a painted stained-glass dome, forms the hotel’s social centre, joined by Palais Royal’s fine dining and the more relaxed Coutume café. Below street level, Corinthia Spa occupies a calm subterranean setting, while the façade looks towards the royal quarter and Parc de Bruxelles.
