A converted early-20th-century grain warehouse gives Faena Buenos Aires its distinctive presence on the Puerto Madero waterfront. Philippe Starck’s interiors layer red velvet, dark timber, polished surfaces and Argentine references through rooms and suites set inside the historic brick shell. El Mercado and Bistro Sur provide contrasting dining rooms, while the Faena Theater brings tango and live performance into the building itself. Tierra Santa Healing House, the outdoor pool and a regular programme of art and cultural events add further dimensions. The original warehouse proportions remain visible behind the theatrical interiors and along the waterside façade.
