Built into the cliff beneath Castle Hill, Hotel La Perouse overlooks the Baie des Anges from one of Nice’s most dramatic waterfront positions. Rooms and suites use Mediterranean colours, light timber and tiled details, with many opening to balconies or terraces above the sea. A heated pool is carved into the rock, while the restaurant terrace sits beneath citrus trees and looks across the rooftops and coastline. Stone steps, planted courtyards and the ochre façade climb the hillside behind the Promenade des Anglais, giving the hotel a secluded character within the old city.
