Between Piazza Borghese and the Spanish Steps, J.K. Place Roma brings a distinctly domestic scale to a central Roman townhouse. Its 27 rooms and suites combine four-poster beds, polished mahogany, marble bathrooms, bold colour and a collection of photography, sculpture and design books assembled by Michele Bönan. The J.K. Café moves from breakfast to cocktails and Italian dishes through a sequence of lounges, dining rooms and a roof garden. Marble doorcases, striped rugs and palms shape the ground-floor salon behind the discreet entrance on Via di Monte d’Oro.
