Jaskółka Dom i SPA stands on a wooded slope in Szklarska Poręba, around 750 metres above sea level in the foothills of the Jizera and Giant Mountains. Dating from 1894, the building retains old parquet, timber panelling, ornate ceilings and other decorative details, now mixed with contemporary furniture and design pieces. Rooms and suites look towards the park or mountains, with stone bathrooms and a restrained palette keeping the newer elements relatively quiet. The spa provides treatments and dedicated spaces for recovery after time outdoors, while the dining programme changes with the seasons. Mature trees press close to the house, reinforcing the sense of a historic mountain residence rather than a large resort.
