In the foothills of the High Atlas near Asni, Kasbah Tamadot occupies a rambling former country estate surrounded by gardens, orchards and mountain slopes. Its rooms, suites, riads and Berber-inspired tents combine carved timber, patterned textiles and collected Moroccan furniture, with terraces or plunge pools in selected categories. Kanoun restaurant, an indoor pool, outdoor pool and Asounfou Spa are distributed through the kasbah and gardens rather than concentrated in one building. Courtyards, shaded arcades and paths planted with roses and herbs frame long views towards the peaks and villages of the surrounding valley.
