Villa La Angostura
,
Argentina
A blue lodge on the shore of Nahuel Huapi Lake has defined Las Balsas since 1988, with Patagonian forest and open water visible across much of the property. The original house is now joined by architect-designed villas set within the private reserve, expanding the accommodation without separating it from the landscape. Rooms and villas use timber, stone and broad areas of glass to frame the lake or woods. A spa and indoor-outdoor pool support slower days, while the restaurant, wellness spaces and dock remain closely oriented towards the water. Villa La Angostura is nearby, but mature forest continues between the buildings and the lake edge.
