Le Mas Barossa brings the atmosphere of a French country house to Rowland Flat, set between the Para River and some of South Australia’s oldest vineyards. Its small number of rooms uses antiques, patterned fabrics and soft colours, with garden views and a distinctly residential scale. The Orangerie provides a bright dining room for seasonal menus, while terraces, a mineral pool and productive gardens spread around the farmhouse-style buildings. Barossa wineries and cellar doors are close in every direction, yet the property remains sheltered by vines and mature planting. A windmill and vineyard rows mark the approach across the estate.
