Deep in the Incles Valley near Canillo, L'Ovella Negra Mountain Lodge converts a former agricultural building into a four-room retreat of stone, dark timber and concrete. Old floors, shutters and wall panelling form a natural backdrop for brass candlesticks, velvet sofas, leather chairs and bold woven textiles. A suspended central fireplace anchors the shared lounge, with communal tables extending into the Lodge Canteen for seasonal mountain cooking. Hiking, snowshoeing, yoga and heli-skiing begin from the valley, while a small wooden hut hosts meals in winter and summer. The lodge's low stone walls remain closely framed by river, forest and Pyrenean slopes.
