Milaidhoo Island
,
Maldives
Within the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Milaidhoo Maldives occupies a small coral island ringed by a house reef and clear lagoon. Spacious beach and overwater villas use timber, woven textures and broad folding doors, each with a private pool and generous outdoor deck. Ba’theli restaurant is set over the water in three dhoni-shaped structures, joined by beachfront dining, a pool bar and an island spa. Sandy paths run beneath palms between the villas, while the reef begins close to shore and remains the defining natural feature around the island’s compact perimeter.
