The restored Jarmulowsky Bank building gives Nine Orchard a strong architectural presence at the corner of Orchard and Canal streets. Its 113 rooms respond to the irregular proportions of the 1912 structure, using arched windows, warm materials, custom furniture and local art rather than imposing a uniform layout. Downstairs, The Corner Bar works as a neighbourhood restaurant. The Swan Room occupies the former banking hall beneath vaulted ceilings and carries a more formal evening atmosphere.
