Palazzo Artemide stands on Piazza Minerva in Ortigia, close to Syracuse Cathedral and the surviving fabric of the ancient Temple of Athena. The restored palazzo combines vaulted ceilings, stone, parquet flooring and tailored contemporary furniture, with rooms looking towards the square, narrow streets or internal spaces. Amunì Cocktail Bar and the outdoor terrace bring activity to the building’s ground floor, while breakfast focuses on Sicilian produce. Pale façades, iron balconies and arched openings connect the hotel directly with the layered Baroque architecture surrounding the cathedral precinct.
