Across floors 79 to 93 of the Shanghai World Financial Centre, Park Hyatt Shanghai looks over Lujiazui, the Huangpu River and the towers of Pudong. Tony Chi designed the 173 rooms and suites as a modern Chinese residence, using restrained materials, high ceilings and strong geometric lines. Every room faces either the river or city, with outlooks varying by orientation. Dining and lounge spaces occupy the upper floors, while Park Salon access depends on the booked rate or suite category. On level 85, Water’s Edge combines a heated indoor infinity pool and hot tub with river views, treatment rooms and a fitness centre. The Oriental Pearl Tower and riverside promenade stand within the surrounding financial district.
