Villa Igiea is a turn-of-the-century palazzo on the edge of Palermo, at the foot of Mount Pellegrino and looking out over the Gulf of Palermo. Long favoured by royalty and dignitaries, the property is set within tiered gardens that lead down towards the port and the Tyrrhenian Sea, and offers Italian restaurants, bars and an Art Nouveau interior restored as part of the Rocco Forte collection. The tiered gardens descend past the restaurants and bars on their way to the water, tracing the same route the Art Nouveau architecture follows from the palazzo down toward the port.
