Rosapetra Spa Resort is set just outside Cortina d’Ampezzo, using timber, stone and broad glazing to echo the surrounding Dolomites without reproducing a traditional chalet wholesale. Rooms are warm and restrained, with natural materials, balconies and mountain views defining much of the interior character. The spa contains an indoor pool, saunas, steam facilities and treatment rooms, creating a substantial retreat after skiing or walking. The restaurant works across Italian and Alpine traditions, while Cortina’s centre and lifts remain a short drive away. In summer, lawns and forest frame the low building beneath the pale, jagged peaks.
