On Akumal’s Caribbean shoreline, Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya is an adults only, all inclusive resort beside waters known as habitat for green sea turtles. Its 434 suites use terraces or balconies, with ocean views, swim out access and private plunge pools available only in relevant categories. Six restaurants offer à la carte menus, joined by a buffet, café and grill covering Mexican, Asian, French, Italian and seafood cooking without requiring reservations at most venues. Three outdoor pools, a spa, fitness facilities and daily activities fill the landscaped grounds. Snorkelling is available from the beach, although wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
