In the 16th arrondissement, Shangri-La Paris occupies the former private residence of Prince Roland Bonaparte, a listed palace facing the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. Rooms and suites preserve the building’s Parisian scale through high ceilings, mouldings, pale textiles and terraces or Eiffel views in selected categories. The hotel has two restaurants, a bar, garden, indoor pool, spa, sauna, steam room and fitness centre. Its strongest details remain architectural rather than theatrical: stone façades, wrought-iron balconies, formal salons and garden-facing terraces set around a discreet avenue d’Iéna entrance.
