Within a Sal forest outside Dehradun, Six Senses Vana is a dedicated wellness retreat in the Himalayan foothills. Its 66 rooms and 16 suites use natural materials, full height windows and balconies or terraces, with outlooks towards forest, gardens or the mango orchard according to position. Programmes draw on Ayurveda, yoga, Tibetan Medicine and natural healing therapies following an initial consultation. Facilities include treatment rooms, meditation spaces, an indoor heated pool, an outdoor heated pool, Watsu pool, steam rooms and fitness areas. Meals are integrated into the retreat approach and shaped around individual plans. Paths through the estate connect the main buildings with gardens, orchards and quieter practice spaces beneath the trees.
