Susafa is an 18th-century farming estate in the Sicilian countryside, surrounded by wheat fields and the hills of the Madonie. Stone barns and former agricultural buildings now contain quietly furnished rooms, where limewashed walls, timber ceilings and simple textiles retain the property’s rural origins. The pool lies beyond the main courtyard, with open views across the fields, while the restaurant uses vegetables, grains, olive oil and herbs produced on the estate. Cooking classes and walks provide a closer connection to the land. At sunset, the long stone façade and farmyard remain the visual centre of the property.
