On Langkawi’s north-western coast, The Datai is immersed in ancient rainforest above a private crescent of Datai Bay. Kerry Hill’s architecture follows the contours of the site through dark timber, pitched roofs, open walkways and villas raised among the trees. Rooms and villas span the canopy, rainforest floor and beach, with selected categories adding private pools and butler service. The Datai Spa, three pools, Nature Centre and beach are joined by The Dining Room, The Pavilion and The Gulai House, each occupying a distinct level within the forest.
