Facing Marion Square, The Dewberry transforms a 1960s federal building into a precisely detailed expression of Charleston modernism. Its 153 rooms combine floor-to-ceiling windows, custom Stickley armoires, Irish mattresses and bathrooms lined in Danby marble. The Living Room extends to a wraparound patio, while Citrus Club occupies the rooftop with long views across church steeples and the harbour. Cypress-clad treatment rooms shape the spa below, and the restored façade retains the strong vertical rhythm of the original mid-century structure on Meeting Street.
