The Guesthouse Vienna occupies a central address on Führichgasse, a short walk from the Vienna State Opera, Albertina and St Stephen’s Cathedral. Its 39 rooms and suites were conceived by Sir Terence Conran and Conran and Partners as residential spaces rather than formal hotel bedrooms, using timber floors, generous windows, reading corners and carefully chosen furniture. In-room Austrian wine and coffee reinforce that apartment-like character. At street level, the Brasserie & Bakery provides the hotel’s principal public room for breakfast, lunch and evening dining. Large corner windows and city views keep Vienna’s historic centre visibly present from the otherwise pared-back interiors.
