Its design draws on 1930s Chicago through geometric details, sculptural forms and work by namesake artist Gwen Lux, while terraces and skyline views vary by room category. Upstairs at The Gwen combines a restaurant, cocktail bar and broad seasonal rooftop terrace. A fitness centre remains available around the clock, but the hotel has no swimming pool or spa.
