Roquebrune-Cap-Martin

The Maybourne Riviera's modernist architecture emerges from the rocky peninsula of Roquebrune Cap Martin, with plunging views out to the Mediterranean and a position close to Monaco. Concrete forms and glass walls follow the contours of the cliff itself, giving the building an unusually direct relationship with the rock beneath it. The surrounding Cote d'Azur landscape includes a coastline dotted with cliffside villages and winding pathways through pine forests and maquis. Terraces cut into the cliff face extend the accommodation outward, keeping the drop to the sea visible from much of the property.
