Facing the Atlantic dunes of Kiawah Island, The Sanctuary is designed as a grand Lowcountry seaside mansion with broad verandas, formal lawns and an oceanfront position. Rooms and suites combine traditional Southern detailing with soft coastal colours, many opening onto balconies overlooking the sea or landscaped grounds. Jasmine Porch serves regional cooking, joined by The Ocean Room and more relaxed lounge spaces. Indoor and outdoor pools, a spa and access to the island’s golf courses extend beyond the main building, whose shingled roofs sit behind beach grass and a long sweep of sand.
