North of La Fortuna, The Springs Resort & Spa occupies a steep 65-acre estate with uninterrupted views towards Arenal Volcano. Rooms and villas use local timber, stone and covered terraces, many with private hot tubs positioned towards the mountain. More than two dozen mineral pools and cascades are distributed between the main resort and the river-level Club Rio complex, joined by Sanctuary Spa and an adventure centre.
