On East 76th Street, a block from Central Park, The Surrey brings a residential scale to Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Martin Brudnizki Design Studio has reworked the interiors with tailored furniture, tactile wall finishes, Murano glass and a muted palette that references the building’s 1920s origins without reproducing them. Rooms and suites pair marble bathrooms with views of Madison Avenue, the courtyard or park-facing rooftops. Casa Tua spans the restaurant, bar and private members’ club, while the Sisley spa includes a salt wall, sauna, steam room and secluded terrace. The entrance remains discreet among the galleries and townhouses off Madison Avenue.
