On a rugged stretch of the Sonoma coast near Jenner, Timber Cove Resort occupies a 1960s A-frame landmark designed by Richard Clements. Sandstone, Douglas fir and redwood give the building its strong coastal presence, while renovated rooms take a quieter retro-modern approach and orient towards the Pacific. Coast restaurant serves the main dining room, and the Great Room gathers around a monumental stone fireplace beneath the timber roof. Outdoor terraces, firepits and paths lead towards cliffside views, with hiking, yoga and local wine tastings woven into the programme. The angular roofline remains visible against the sea and cypress-covered headland.
