Opened in 1910 within Vidago Thermal Park, Vidago Palace is a Belle Époque landmark surrounded by mature woodland and mineral springs in northern Portugal. Restored interiors retain grand staircases, ornate ceilings and period proportions, while rooms and suites introduce a quieter contemporary finish. A modern spa draws on the destination’s thermal heritage, and the 18-hole golf course unfolds through the parkland beyond the palace. Dining occupies some of the building’s most ceremonial rooms, with tall windows and formal detailing connecting the hotel’s public spaces to lawns, avenues and forest.
