On the northern edge of Aix-en-Provence, Villa Gallici occupies an 18th-century house surrounded by cypresses, lavender and clipped gardens. Its individually composed rooms and suites layer toile, silk, carved furniture and deep Provençal colour, with selected terraces opening onto the grounds. The outdoor pool sits beyond the main villa, joined by a compact spa and shaded garden seating. Seasonal French and Mediterranean cooking is served in richly decorated dining rooms or on the terrace, a short walk from the fountains and plane trees of the Cours Mirabeau.
