About
Al Ándalus
A Belle Époque train from Madrid to Seville
Al Ándalus links Madrid and Seville over six nights, travelling through Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura and Andalusia. Four saloon cars built between 1928 and 1930 provide the train’s most distinctive spaces, while private en-suite cabins are used for the nights aboard. A coach follows the train for guided visits and regional meals, making the railway one part of a fuller journey through central and southern Spain.

the experience
Historic saloons, private cabins and evenings aboard
The four historic saloons are used for dining, drinks, conversation and live music, retaining much of their Belle Époque character. Cabins convert between daytime seating and beds and include a private bathroom. The train normally remains stationary overnight, reducing movement during sleep, while daytime visits and some meals take place away from the railway with the accompanying coach.
THE JOURNEYS
Madrid, Extremadura and Andalusia
The route brings together the royal and historic cities of central Spain with the Roman, medieval and Andalusian heritage further south. Madrid, Aranjuez, Toledo, Cáceres, Mérida, Córdoba, Jerez, Cádiz and Seville appear within the wider programme, with departures also operating in reverse. The order and length of visits should be checked for the selected date.
