The Colorado River and red-rock country by day train
Canyon Spirit runs only during daylight, linking Denver and Moab over two rail days with a hotel night in Glenwood Springs. A three-day version continues between Moab and Salt Lake City, adding a second hotel night. The standard Signature experience includes panoramic seating, meals and drinks; the Premier upgrade adds a dedicated lounge car, enhanced dining and a broader drinks selection. There are no sleeping cabins.

Wide-windowed coaches and nights in hotels
The railway follows the Colorado River through mountain and canyon landscapes that are difficult to see by road. Signature guests receive meals and drinks at their seats, with access to outdoor viewing areas. Premier adds a separate lounge car, additional host service, upgraded wines and a more extensive food programme. At the end of each rail day, guests leave the train for a hotel and rejoin the following morning.
THE JOURNEYS
Denver to Moab, with Salt Lake City beyond
The core route connects Denver and Moab through Glenwood Springs. The three-day journey adds a sector between Moab and Salt Lake City and an overnight stay in Moab. Both directions are available. Because accommodation sits outside the train, the choice and location of the hotels at each stop form a meaningful part of the overall journey.
